Where to eat and drink in Hội An tonight
Undecided where to land this evening? Every Doi Moi Group room is a short walk from the old town, and each one does a different job.
Start with tacos at Masa Taqueria on Phan Châu Trinh, tortillas pressed daily from real masa. Stay for a drink upstairs at Mezcal Coctelería, Vietnam's first agave cocktail bar, if a mezcal margarita sounds right.
Prefer the water? Climb to Market Bar on the old cloth market terrace for a gin and tonic fish bowl over the Hoài River, or sit next door at Ms. Phuong's Fish & Chips for beer-battered fish and chips, cold beer and live sport.
For something quieter, Hèm Hội An opens at four: a candlelit heritage house pouring Vietnamese-made saké and rice spirits. The same house runs Lalita's Mexican Brunch by day, for whenever tonight turns into tomorrow morning.
Hours can change — check each venue's own page before heading out.
