Six places, one family
Doi Moi Group runs six rooms in Hội An, and none of them look alike on purpose. Masa Taqueria presses its own tortillas from real masa at 38 Phan Châu Trinh; climb the narrow staircase beside its door and you're in Mezcal Coctelería, Vietnam's first agave cocktail bar, low-lit and built for slow evenings.
Across town, the old cloth market carries two more: Market Bar, where giant infused gin and tonic fish bowls come out over the Hoài River, and next to it Ms. Phuong's Fish & Chips, which started life as a lockdown delivery service and is now a rooftop with cold beer and live sport.
On Nguyễn Duy Hiệu, one heritage house does double duty: by day it's Lalita's Mexican Brunch, bright plates and handcrafted drinks in a restored courtyard; after dark the same rooms become Hèm Hội An, Vietnam's first saké cocktail bar, candlelit and quiet.
Six kitchens, six moods, one family.
